This Monday is the West Indian Day Parade and Carnival in Brooklyn. It generally attracts between one and three million participants, who come for the culture, the music, the extravagant costumes, and maybe some jerk chicken from one of the many local vendors.

I’m liking the street-style this fashion week better than the shows so far. Everything is so techno-sportsweary (I’m looking at you, A.Wang and J.Altuzarra- but props to Altuzarra’s makeup team- thick black eyebrows!!!)
